The Chi Outfits

The infamous tv show, “the chi” was released back in 2018. This show had 6 seasons.

The Chi , pronounced as The-shy is an American drama Tv series. It was produced by Lena Waithe in which she writes about living in a neighborhood which is on the South Side of Chicago. The tv show stars three American African boys, Micheal Epps as Jake, Alex Hibbert as Kevin and Shamon Brown as Papaas who grew up on the Southside of Chicago.

 The show features how the black community is shackled by the institutional system and how it brings harm to their community as whole. The system that includes the police and the educational system sees black people as lower class citizens. Through the eyes of the three characters we are able to assess how black people are degraded, killed and slandered just because they are differently coloured. The current situation of the community causes Emmett, Brandon, Ronnie, and Kevin to grow up to be even closer to protect one another and make their dreams come true.

The Chi Wardrobe
